Calling all People who are Foodies, Bloggers, Tweeters, Facebookers etc.......an event not to be missed

Fenn's Quay is hosting its first ever "Chef Du Jour" event on the 22nd & 23rd of November by inviting two people into the kitchen of Fenn's . Their menus chosen from many were chosen because of there great combinations but also there passion for food and flavours 

The program of evens are as follows

On the 22nd of November Paul Callaghan (@calsocooks web: the sustainablelarder.com) who describes himself on twitter as a person who has adapted to change , enjoys blogging about food, growing his own vegetables and is trying sustainable living and loving it. Paul will enter Fenns Quay kitchen with his menu & he will be create it with our chefs for you the customer to enjoy. Paul is venturing in to Cork from Co.Clare so show him how welcoming us Cork rebels are

On the 23rd of November Jeni Pim (@jeniPim) a women who describes herself on twitter as a person of courage  a mother a wife and great fun will enter our doors with the same task of Paul ahead of her working along side our chefs in Fenns creating and styling her dishes. Jeni too is not a resident of Cork and is making her way from Waterford for this experience  and again the welcome will be great !

On each night the menus service will begin from 7pm with staggered tables until 8 pm  and when all four courses are served  they will be introduced to the diners and the critics who are some well known Cork food & wine enthusiasts  will award  them their rating out of five for the evening .

This is a unique event happening in Cork city where two foodies are given the chance to experience the life of a chef for real and producing there own menus which they have worked very hard to produce. I can say they are of exceptional quality . To make this night enjoyable we will have some group tables available to give people who may know each other from twitter, face book or blogging a chance to meet and chat about the food and the wine or if its a table for two we can do that too . If blogging or tweeting is not your thing but you enjoy a good night of fun and chat then these are nights not to be missed !!!

the event package €50 includes aperitif on arrival 4 course menu, begining with an amouse bouche and finishing with dessert  from our Chef Du Jour & wine  included.
